Sean holds a Diploma of Financial Planning (2001) as well as other specialty qualifications such as Self-Managed Super Funds, Listed Securities, Direct Equities, Geared investments and Margin Lending. Sean has passed the government mandated FASEA exam and is currently studying towards his Masters of Financial Planning through Kaplan Business School (Australia).

Sean originally started working in the finance sector in Sydney in the early 1990’s as a broker in the spot foreign exchange market before transitioning across to be a financial and medical Underwriter for one of the words largest banks and insurers (ING). In 2000, Sean made the switch to providing personal Financial Planning advice and has now been advising personal and corporate clients for over 20 years having run his own business for 18 years.

Over the past 20 years, Sean has helped his clients attain and then claim on their insurances which is primarily due to his industry knowledge and unique insight into insurance policy benefits, definitions, terms and conditions.

Sean also has a focus on helping businesses and business partners protect themselves against the unforeseen in the form of Business Succession Planning & Funding, Loan Guarantor protection, Key Person Revenue and/or Capital protection and Commercial Debt Forgiveness funding arrangements.

Sean is a member of the Association of Financial Advisers (AFA).
